Real, or Fake?

People often ask me if mine are real....

...and of course, I have to tell the truth....

I'm proud to say they're real, but I have to admit.....

.... they're so gorgeous, they look fake!

Everyone admires them. Some can't take their eyes off of them.

Rest assured; they are very real.

Don't you just love summer flowers?

Once again, I have my wonderful friend to thank.

Thanks, Dawn, for the gorgeous flowers!

  1. Of course I notice the vase first - is that a Bill Campbell pottery piece? Oh goodness, it's gorgeous and it shows off those beautiful flowers so well!

  3. A couple years ago when I had zinnias planted around the deck, I had a couple days of "visitations". One day they were loaded with butterflies, and another-----hummingbirds. What a treat!

  4. Tee Hee I knew you weren't going where it seemed like you were going, so I couldn't wait to see where you were really going (follow that?)

Gardening Below the Mason Dixon Line is proving harder than I thought, so I'm a little jealous. I haven't attempted zinnias, because up north you have to dig them up in the winter...maybe not down here, thought...next year!

  10. LOL, qandlequeen!

Remember, now--I have a black thumb, so I don't plant any flowers. Actually, Dawn and Jerry have lots of room on their land, so when a local Hmong family asked if they could use some of the space to plant flowers for the Farmer's Market, they graciously said yes. Their reward is fresh flowers whenever they want :)

  11. I like real so much better than fake. And I like how these are so perky and fresh looking, yet they don't come out of your shoulders.

  19. My zinnias and sunflowers are lovely right now too! Did you bring a bouquet for your desk at school? Zinnias always remind me of the pop art of Peter Maxx.
