Friday Fragments: Episode #321

Half-Past Kissin' Time

Ever had one of those days when you have so much clutter in your head
that you don't seem able to focus on anything in particular for very long?
 Friday Fragments was invented for those days; feel free to back up and unload here.
[First time fragging? Please read the Friday Fragments dos and don'ts above, thanks.]

I think I've turned the corner on the rotator cuff healing journey; I have been able to go without pain meds or anti-inflammatories two days this week, so far!  I didn't realize how wonderful it would feel to be able to do dishes and fold a little laundry again. (Mr.4444 is very happy for us both, of course!) Of course, I paid for all of that activity the next day, both times. On Wednesday, I felt so accomplished, because I was able to blow dry my hair for the first time in two months!

However, that night, I paid for it; bit off more than I could chew, I guess.
Today my hair is nothing to brag about:

Today at therapy, I got six new exercises;
let's just say I won't be doing any push-ups tonight.

On a random note: If you'd told me one day I'd leave traditional, minty toothpaste in favor of toothpaste that tastes like food, I'd have rolled my eyes at you. However, Kendall received samples this summer that she let me try, and I was hooked. These are the two that I later bought:

Their flavors are Lime Spearmint and Vanilla Mint.
[Chocolate Mint wasn't my favorite.]
I just really like how different they are.

Jo-Anne, blogger from JoAnne's Ramblings called my post Love Letter to My Mom "bloody great." In case you missed it, I thought I'd share it again. (Thanks, JoAnne :)

My debit card was apparently hacked/copied/whatever when we were in Mexico in July. I know this not because the bank caught the 99 withdrawals from our account (yes--99) over the course of four days (Thursday through Sunday), but because Mr.4444 found himself unable to draw money out of our account, and I opened up the online records.  The name of our bank rhymes with Thirst Ferret Bank; in case you bank there and would like to move to one that actually monitors for fraud, I thought I'd mention it. So, yeah; they stole a LOT of money that the bank will make sure gets returned to us "in 7 to 10 days." When I asked what happens if monthly auto-pays of bills hit the account, the sweet bank teller smiled apologetically and said, "You'll have to make sure those are covered." (Obviously, we won't be banking there any longer, once things are cleared up.)

Okay, that's it for me; I need to go finish watching the Packers kick the Vikings' butts! Link up your FRIDAY FRAGMENTS post below and join in the fun! Have a great weekend.
