Out of the Mouths of Babes

I feel very disconnected from Blogland this week, so far--Kendall has been sick for three days, and I've been pretty busy with trying to help her, as well as trying to keep up during a very busy work week. Tonight, I helped Kendall with a big project and only sat down to do my own work (sub notes for tomorrow) at 10pm. Finally catching a breath, I decided to catch up on Facebook. When I read my boss's wife's FB update, I knew it had earned a special place on my blog:

On the way to 4K [preschool] today, Ava sees a man walking up his drive with the newspaper. She says, "Well I know what that guy is going to do." When I asked what...she replied, "Poop!" Guess you can figure out what her dad's routine is:)


Thank heaven for 4-year-olds :)

    Thanks. She's not a whiner by nature, so you know she's hating it when she's home from school. She has some kind of wicked cold that's got her beat down. She's hoping to make it to school tomorrow. I'm keeping fingers crossed!
