Friday Fragments: Episode #191

Mommy's Idea

My weekend is going to busy; I'm glad I can unload the randomness of my week to free up my mind at least a little! [To learn more about Friday Fragments, click here.]  This week, most of my fragments are "to be continued."

***Should I renew my domain with GoDaddy? I've been very happy with them all these years, and I like that I just pay it and forget about it, but maybe I should consider other options? To be continued...

***I am very excited about the plans my Difference Makers have for fundraising in the next couple of weeks leading up to the Relay for Life in our area, and to do my part, I will very soon be I will be offering up chances to win fabulous prizes to those who donate to our team or to my individual page. If you're afraid you might miss it, feel free to donate today, and when the raffle starts, I'll include your name in the hat. For every $10 you donate, you will  earn a chance in the drawing for the following prizes:

1 $50 VISA GIFT CARD
1 $50 Shell GAS CARD
1 dozen cake bites
1 hour techie advice from me

I should be posting the rest of the details some time next week. To be continued...

***In homeroom today, one student said, in response to a peer, "James is right; if you don't have any goals, it's kind of good, because you'll never be disappointed in yourself."  Needless to say (or "seedless to nay," as Mom would say), I did not let that one go.

***Holy cow. The paint color transformation in our living room is incredible. I highly recommend hiring a professional painter if you ever have the chance. Joe has been terrific to work with. Expect to see a few before/after photos next week, as it's not all put-together yet! To be continued...

***Mr.4444 has been traveling a lot lately. My weekends with him are precious to me. Last week, our "quality time" involved stripping the deck for hours. This weekend, we get to stain it! Romantic, I know...

***Kendall will sing at Solo and Ensemble tomorrow. She has a solo, a duet, a quartet, and a large group
performance. I can't wait! Stay tuned for video! To be continued...

***All eight of my siblings and I are going to be together for Easter, beginning on Wednesday! To be continued...

Your turn! Link up your Friday Fragments post and meet some of the coolest bloggers I know :)

  1. Romantic is overrated--doing a home project together is much better!

That philosophy about having no goals reminded me of the quote: "If you shoot at nothing, you will hit it every time." I like "Aim high" much better.

Looking forward to seeing your ceiling pics.

  2. Love your 'to be continued-s' and can't wait to hear about all of them! I think it's great y'all are doing home projects. Sure wish I could get mine to do some! I would find that quite romantic actually. LOL
