Where's the Pupparazzi When You Need 'Em?

After taking the above photo of Steve and Milo,
I had the grand idea of taking the same photo every week for a year (or something like that).  Today, 11 days after the first photo, we had another little photo shoot.
Let's just say I have a new respect for pet photographers.

Steve (8 weeks) and Milo (3 months)

Thankfully, since Milo's haircut, his hair has grown a little.

Steve has doubled his weight since joining our family two weeks ago,
though it's kind of hard to tell from these photos.

Milo is up to a whopping 5.5 pounds.

Even when I tried again later, with an assistant, when they were "calmer,"
there was little improvement in the level of cooperation from my models.

This is the best we could come up with.

Maybe next week...

  2. I think cats are easier to photograph than dogs. They don't move as much! You got a good one though--that's what digital cameras are for.

  3. That's a great idea! I love the pics where Steve has his back to the camera... like "I'm ignoring you!"

  5. The thing is, the big variety of "near misses" is much more indicative of what life with them both is really like right now. They are all cute---like good candid photos, as compared with everybody standing in a line and smiling photos. (As though I had skilz.....)

    1. You're absolutely right. My favorite shots of all time are candids.

  8. I love the look in Steve's eyes in the one where Milo is crossing in front of Steve with his tongue out.
