Friday Fragments: Episode #227

Mommy's Idea

This time of year, we all have bits and pieces of randomness flying around in our heads. Thank goodness we can do something about it--Thanks for joining in Friday Fragments!
(If this is your first time fragmenting, please click on the tab above to learn the ins and outs!)

***Our exchange student Maren's stay here has come to an end; she's going home on Saturday. We're going to miss her sweet personality and how well she put up with Mr.4444's goofy sense of humor.  We're having an early-Christmas celebration with her tomorrow. Tonight Mr.4444 made cod for dinner to tease Maren (and to show that it can be cooked in a way that makes it delicious), but don't worry--he also made some beef as back-up.

***Kendall hopes to have the opportunity to visit Maren this summer. I'm not sure we should support this, given that she's already been to Hawaii with one friend and is going to the Bahamas right after Christmas break--Should she get another trip when I have yet to leave the continent?! (Just kidding--We'll probably let her go, even though she's a rotten kid.)

***Just kidding, of course.

***Lots more to say, but more to do...helping Maren pack, wrapping gifts for tomorrow night, poking around in Snapfish, etc. etc. I'll catch up with you soon. Have a great weekend!

I didn't realize that Maren would only be here for one semester ... somehow I thought she'd be here for the entire school year. I'm sure you all will miss her.

  15. Is blogger whacky or is it just me? All the comments on your page look as if they're from you! My page doesn't come up right?......oh, sigh!

You'll miss your exchange student, but what an adventure! I would love to go out of the country on a visit.......I've been to Mexico, but nowhere else.
