***We've had horrible weather this week (every day), resulting in every teacher's nightmare--INSIDE RECESS EVERY DAY! I just heard a weatherman describe us as being "Solidly in the grip of winter's chill." Nice.

***Bright and early Tuesday morning, as my dear husband was preparing to go out of town for work, Steve lifted his leg and peed on the newly-pressed dress shirt Mr.4444 had just hung over a dining room chair. Apparently, Steve doesn't appreciate his master traveling all that much.

***My sister, Michelle, knows me too well...

***Finally got some details on what Kyle will be doing during his internship in Buenos Aires, Argentina this summer. He will be working on "community development projects, global communications, marketing, public relations, organizational development and administrative assistance" for a support organization for start-up companies in various stages of development. What a great experience he will have!

***In case any of you are wondering if those toilet seats that "automatically close" themselves actually decrease the frequency of wives falling into toilets during the night, the answer would be no; they still require the males using them to give the lid a gentle nudge to get them started. So, yeah; pretty much a waste of money.

***This week, I shared what I think is an interesting post, about our maple syrup. It also includes a photo of my husband that will make you wonder about his sanity.  I also recorded a vlog sharing surely one of the most unforgettable classroom stories I will ever tell, but I ended up deleting the post.
