Puppy-Love Playdate

Last week, it finally warmed up/thawed enough for me to take Milo and Steve for a walk more than a few times! We stopped by neighbors who have two small dogs and one Bernese Mountain Dog "puppy" who is close in age to Steve. Beau has been away for two weeks (being properly trained to stop jumping on people, as well as herding the small boy in the family into corners), and Steve and Milo were thrilled to see him again after being stuck indoors for so long.

Incidentally, Beau is almost 11 months old and weighs at least 80 pounds. I'm not sure if size impacts pact-leadership, but Beau's control of Steve blew my mind--In short order, he had Steve under his thumb, and the rest took no coaxing to fall in line.

Now listen, you guys. I know I was gone for a couple of weeks, but I'm back now, and I want you all to remember that I am the boss of you!
