Sundays in My City: Another Kind of Mall

While visiting the U of Minnesota-Twin Cities last week, 

I was given the pleasure of a personal tour by Kendall.

There is a lot of construction going on on campus these days, 

but "The Mall" was still impressive!

Kendall goes to this building often:

 

to suffer through this subject:

Imagine that; whole buildings dedicated to academic torture of varying subjects!

This library was impressive.

I'm lucky I didn't walk into a wall or something, 

what with all the craning upwards that I did.

I'd love to know some of the history of those buildings

and the cost of building them.

Here's something a little more modern.

Kendall said it's supposedly bad luck to walk through the leg opening of this creation.

I guess it depends on what subject area those doors lead to;

with my luck, it would be Statistics!

(It's a wonder I survived.)
