Friday Fragments: Episode #301

Half-Past Kissin' Time

There are 19 school days left of our school year; need I say TGIF?
Welcome to Friday Fragments--the place to relax, unwind, and defrag for the weekend.
I can't promise 300 more Friday Fragments episodes, but I can probably commit to 300 more random bits and pieces of the coming weeks and months.
Let's get started!

Buzzfeed's Parents at the Beginning of the Year vs. the End made me laugh out loud repeatedly. Whether you're a parent or a teacher,  you'll surely find it amusing.

***
Frau West shared in a post recently that her daughter Katelyn has started a Campus Cursive club at her college. It's wonderful, and you can learn more about it on their Facebook page.

***
A super-smart chemist has invented an incredible tool that I expect will have a tremendous impact on the issue of water quality throughout the world. It's called the Drinkable Book, and I am impressed!

If you won a prize in my giveaway last week but haven't received it yet, never fear; you will receive it (probably within a week from today). Thanks for your patience.

***
Remember when I posted a photo of celery "growing" on my window sill and how amazed I was that it actually "works"? Well, it actually doesn't; a month (or so) later, it looks like this, and I'm disappointed:

So, now it's in the garbage can.

We're going to pick Kendall up from college this weekend!! YAY

If you missed it, I got high yesterday and wrote about it here. Our handsome, intelligent, charming, talented son turned 22 on Thursday. We could not be prouder of you, Kyle! Love you!!

And now, for your Friday Fragments linking pleasure....
