Bits pieces, pieces and bits.
Holding them in would give me fits.
So let's unleash our randomness
So that our weekends can be clutter-less.

My husband's boss and his wife (whom I've never met) are coming to spend the night at our house on Saturday and go to the Packers game on Sunday. I have done nothing to prepare the house--UGH

Our Halloween party is eight days away. I've done very little to prep for that, either. I guess I just like to work under pressure, which is insane. I have no idea what my costume will be. Maybe I'll be a
French Maid again.

It's been raining for days and staying darker later every morning. Last night, it was also very windy, resulting in this artwork on our deck this morning:

My video,
How to Remove an Otterbox Case from a Samsung Galaxy S4 Phone, has reached more than 86,000 views! I think that's fantastic! Tonight, I was reading the latest comments on it and learned that the Otterbox customer service department shared a link to my video with a customer who called them.
How cool is that?!

I've started my Christmas shopping, and I'm happy to report that I found a company that makes sheepskin products in the United States. It's a two-person operation in Vermont, called Shepherd's Flock Shearling Products, and if you have the patience to read through
their website, you'll find that at least one of the partners is a real character. I'm ordering one of these to keep Mr.4444 warm when he's blowing snow
and will let you know how it all plays out some time in early November, when the hat arrives.

Ebola. Wow. Shout-out to you nurses out there; you risk your own health on a daily basis. Thanks.

My first job was with the housekeeping department of St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. I remember having to don isolation garb when cleaning the rooms of contagious patients. Yikes.

This week, I have only taken Tylenol maybe twice; I've reached the stage of rotator cuff recovery in which I'm working on stretching my shoulder, arm, and back muscles so that I can get to the strengthening stage. Today, I am excited to say that for the first time, I am able to reach my arm up and touch the side of my head with my bicep! Small victories.

Oh, and if you know anyone who's facing rotator cuff surgery, I'd love it if you shared my post,
37 Things to Expect When You're Expecting Rotator Cuff Surgery. I'm certain it's a post many will appreciate.

I'm starting to be able to focus on more than just work and shoulder surgery recovery. I enjoyed being able to check in with at least some of you last week and look forward to doing the same this weekend (with any luck). I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to know what's new with you; link up your Friday Fragments post below.
