Friday Fragments: Episode #356

Half-Past Kissin' Time

Today was the last day (half-day) of school. If I weren't so exhausted, I'd tell you all about it.

Students this week drew "lifesizers" of Roman characters. In this work of art (held by teacher, Mrs. W), the student sketched the Roman person holding his...robe; yes, it's his robe! What did you think it was?! Not everyone can be Picasso, you know.

The school district in which I work has had more than its share of drama this year, which is not usual. I won't get into it except to say that it's disheartening and people are looking for jobs elsewhere. I'll be staying, and I hope things settle down soon.

Mr.4444 and I are the proud new owners of a gorgeous salt water aquarium. It has no fish in it yet, but boy are the ones we're going to get going to be happy campers! I'd take photos, but we don't have a light yet, either.

Tomorrow I'm taking the Difference Makers to an overnight YMCA camp; they are going to have a ball! After that, I'm going to sleep for two days and then get ready to leave on Wednesday for my trip to Seattle with Kyle and Kendall.

It's a good thing Mr.4444 wasn't planning to join us on our hiking expedition to Washington; his right knee is really swollen, suddenly; poor guy.

If you don't see a linky here, it's because Blogger deleted it and I'm out celebrating the last day of school and will add the linky when I get home :) Thanks for your patience.
