If I could be Santa this year, I would give....

For The Girl: Clothes, some earrings, gift certificates to have her nails done professionally, and pay a hair stylist to work with us to help her find some ways to do her hair (neither of us knows what to do with it, but it is beautiful). She never asks for a thing and says, “Just get me what you think would be good, Mom.”

For the Boy: A nice car, a laptop computer for school, karate lessons, monthly professional massages, life-time supply of American Eagle.

For Mr. 4444: Lifetime supply of car washes. A professional garage/basement cleaner, Someone to re-do the whole deck finish. The peace that comes from truly believing that you are not in control of your life (God is). (He knows this on an emotional level but just has a hard time getting his man-self to stop worrying and just let it go.) A new car (good on gas, so that he’d stop driving that gas-sucking pig).

For XXXX: A cure for alcoholism, so that she can be free from the chokehold it has on her now. A sugar daddy to take her away from her lonely life and share some fun.

For my mom: A chauffeur to drive her wherever she wants to go. The freedom from the aches and pains that come from having nine kids. After that, a cruise twice per year for her and her friends for the rest of her life.

For me: A full-time housekeeper, my blog professionally designed, an automatic car starter, massages, professional cleaner/organizer to get down into my basement and whip my holiday stuff into shape, professional eyebrow waxing laser hair removal, lifetime supply of MaryKay and Victoria’s Secret.

Let me know if you want me to add you to my list (only if you've been very good, of course!)

  1. Well, I do say you'd make one great Santa!

Since you asked; I'll take a months supply of pink roses and a pair of boots with the little tassle's on 'em. :)

  2. Can I just re-use your list? All of what you have for yourself would also fit very nicely under my tree. Thanks!! :)

  3. You can just add me onto your list of things, thanks.
(I just realized that brown berry beat me to that comment... but, seriously, it all sounds lovely)
