Top 10 Christmas Songs (otherwise known as How to Tell How Old I Am...)

My top 10 favorite Christmas Songs, in no particular order

Oh, Holy Night (Anne Murray)
The Little Drummer Boy (Anne Murray)
Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire (The Carpenters)
Little Altar Boy (Carpenters)
Merry Christmas Darling (Carpenters. Seeing a trend, are you?)
Christ is Born (Carpenters)
I’ll Be Home for Christmas (Carpenters)
Ave Maria (Carpenters)
Baby It’s Cold Outside (Jessica Simpson and her ex-husband, whats-his-name)
Santa Baby (Madonna)
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Kenny G) Okay, it’s 11, but who’s counting

Hopefully, no one will make fun of my selections. I've never been able to explain the Carpenters obsession, but as long as I can remember, their music has always touched something in me. I'm guessing my older sisters played their stuff when I was little? Regardless, my Christmas does not begin without the Carpenters on my I-pod. I'm inspired by Musings of a Housewife, since we have some of the same titles with different singers I will have to check out.

  1. I love your selections. I am finding so many great new songs this way. Thanks for playing! :-)

I love all your mom's expressions, by the way. And that picture of the two of you. That's awesome. You guys look like so much fun.
