Award Time

Bee is hilarious. I laughed very hard, out loud (more than once or twice) at this post, Idiot's Guide to Preparing for the Flu. Just for fun, I'm awarding Bee this gem that Jen made for me a while back...

I have never laughed harder at a post than I did reading this one from Jill; How to Shower. It's priceless, and that's why she gets the award, too.

Oddly enough, the same text came with this award (from Weaselmomma a long time ago). While I'm certain it takes talent to raise five kids on no income, I have not absolved Weaselmomma of the Stupid Human-Trick (SHT) requirement for me to pass the award on. Still waiting...(and no, FlatWeaselmomma cannot do the trick for you.)

See, my philosophy is that awards are not like hot potatoes; I can't just toss them at other bloggers; I have to carefully, sincerely choose the recipients, find and add the links, etc., which is very time consuming. If someone is willing to do a SHT, I figure they must really mean that award. Plus, it gives me something to laugh at while I am working on the post. Cases in point, these SHTs from Blogging Momma, Zoesdad. I'm also still waiting for tricks from a couple of people (you know who you are!) And that leads me to Semi-Slacker mom, who offered up this treat as her SHT:See how much fun this is?! For some odd reason, she didn't want to post it on her own blog, but she did consent to my sharing it here. She went to these extremes to prove her sincerity in giving me this award, which is wonderful:The qualifications to receive the award are:
