Friday Fragments

Ever wonder what to do with all of those little tidbits you collect over the week that are too small to be stand-alone posts, but too good to discard? Welcome to...If you didn't read my Christmas "Nice" List, which more than likely contains a gift for you, please go back to this post. I hope everyone enjoyed their gifts and that you all remember me when you do your shopping! :) P.S. Kind of ironic, but I have yet to receive my SS gift from the gig so lovingly set up by dear Georgie and Amy. Hopefully, I will get it this weekend...

This post from Mighty Mom really touched me. It's a video she found regarding some people's kindness and compassion for soldiers returning from Iraq. (Take a moment to admire here three little cuties at the top, and then look down on the page a little to find the video, turning off her music on the way, so you can hear the video :)

The netipot helped! I feel better than yesterday, but still kind of crappy. (TGIF!) I also started on Prednisone today for my tongue, which will hopefully be the last thing I need to try. Wish me luck! Oh, and BTW, I added my slideshow to yesterday's post, for you brave folks who are interested. (Don't worry; I photoshopped my zombie eyeballs :)

DaPoppins is a gifted writer. This week, she wrote a fantastic post that all future-grandmas can relate to: When I Am Old. It's beautiful (and funny.) I'd love it if one of you gentlemen out there would write the grandpa version!

Kudos to CatHouse Teri for being so cool about my not having her on my gift list (though she definitely falls into the "Nice" category!) I went to her site tonight and remembered that she was someone who really does seem to have everything a person could want. While there, I enjoyed reading her Interview. Even though Teri drops an F-bomb now and then, I find reading her blog calming; she seems to have her stuff together.

Once Michelle recovered from her birthday surprise, she busted out a new post; Party in My Pants. Go see why I've been encouraging her to write for more than a year now.

OMGosh-The dog in this video is hilarious! Check it out if you want to see a dog who really LOVES new snow (and you didn't already receive this in an email this week!
