For the record, I realize these photos are technically not the best, but I love them all the same. I snapped them hurriedly, on my way to school on Friday. (Yup--we have daylight at 6:30am now!!!) The snow was sparkling so beautifully, it was impossible to just keep driving past.
Here begins my "The Morning After" series....
What do you get when you mix pizza, chips, roasted Starbursts, and rootbeer with a sleepover?
Add the words "three a.m." and you have this...
And finally, Kendall and I updated our annual spring goofing around outside pic:
[I can't tell you the restraint it took to not go to Picnik and erase my wrinkles.
I am trying to embrace the aging thing, but damn, it's hard!! Just look at Kendall, okay? :)]

FYI, roasting Starbursts is a little sleepover tradition that Kendall started. They gather round a table, each with a tealight candle and a Starburst on a toothpick. Then, they hover the Startburst over the flame until it is just the right meltiness. Apparently, it is a delicacy!haha
ReplyDeleteHa! I was just gonna ask how one would roast Starbursts! Too funny!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time was had, for sure!!
The snow is just gorgeous! I would love to be able to photograph snow pics. Just once!
Happy Sunday!

ReplyDeleteI do miss the diamond snow, as I called it. Thanks for the reminder :)
ReplyDeleteRestrain from erasing your wrinkles - it's you. You've lived a lot to get those :) Now if I could erase the fat from my body as easily as going to a picnik that would be great! lol
I agree, the snow is beautiful...especially when the sun hits just right...but I am so excited to see some dark green grass and little bare feet running through it!!
ReplyDeleteYou're beautiful and your daughter is lucky to look so much like you.
Happy Day!
PS: No, I don't wear the wooden shoes, they're from way back when we still had a garden, my husband used to wear them. Now they're for decoration only.
ReplyDeleteI love the snow shots and the picture of you and Kendall is lovely!

ReplyDeletegreat pictures!!! you are beautiful and don't have a thing to worry about!!!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of you and Kendall is gorgeous! My opinion is that wrinkles are allowed, especially if they are from laughing and smiling! Or squinting into the sun on a great adventure! Or even from frowning through a tough situation...they are just life tracks. :)
ReplyDeleteROASTED starbursts??
ReplyDeletewhat the heck is that about?
geez, first you go and tell me you have a real name and NOW you're telling me you have wrinkles too?
oh whoa is me....oh the drama....oh my innocence.....oh me...oh my....oh ...oh .....oh.....
It's not the quality of a photo hat makes it special. It's the content.
