Sundays in My City/Weekly Winners

Weekly Winners is a collection of favorite photos from bloggers East and West. Sundays in My City is a series of photo offerings from communities everywhere in between!

In my city this week, the flowers were blooming like crazy!

"Were" is the key word here.

Some tulips before....

And some tulips after....

See them there? Past the SNOW we had last night? Poor things...

Yes, we got snow last night. Quite the contrast with the lush,
green trees in the woods behind our house...

And finally, a repeat of the shot I took earlier this week, just in case you missed it...

It's 37 degrees (Fahrenheit) as I type this, but don't worry;
our Mothers Day high is predicted to be a whopping 58 degrees!

Happy Mothers Day, Everyone!

  2. So you're STILL getting snow! Anyway, more flowers will pop up soon. And the water drop on your leaves looks lovely.

  13. Oh no, more snow. Darn. We were cold in the night last night and hubby got up to turn up the heater and we have no heat. Heater is down. I have two small space heaters going full blast in here today and will try to get someone out here tomorrow. Good thing we have plenty of warm clothes! We can do it. I hope you are having a warm lovely Mothers Day in your home with your wonderful family today.
