Since the growing season is relatively short in Wisconsin,
the Farmers Market is a treat. Here are some reasons why...
First, the cutie by from my Thousand Words Thursday post this week.
How gorgeous are these?
There was fun for kids...
Familiar Hmong crafts...
Lots and lots of this...
And this huge bouquet, for which I paid just $8
and delivered to a very happy Grandma 4444...
I decided to play with this one. First, straight-out-of-the-camera, Before....
And After, played around in Picnik...my favorite shot of the week.
And finally, a Wisconsin summer landscape (again, played with in Picnik)

Love the last two. Colorful veggies, beautiful landscape!
Farmers Markets are the BEST! Making me want to go to the one here, now!
It's funny but I do love the farmers market so much more in Michigan than I do here in FLorida - I think it's because the I craved the freshness so much more in Michigan. We just get so much fresh food here in Florida that it now the normal.
Good editing :) I like it!

Oh I love the bounty of summer. How gorgeous! The fresh local food is definitely one of my favorite parts of it :)
your color enhancements explain why those colored ads always look better than what we bring home.
Those are all gorgeous! And, what a great deal on the lily bouquet!!

Love the side of the road milk-weed plants in the picture. I reminds me of the road to my Mom & Dad's cabin in northwest Wisconsin. Thanks for sharing!
