Sooner than I like, I'll be setting my alarm for 5:00am, Monday through Friday. On Tuesday morning, I got up at eight and did this within five minutes of crawling out of bed.
[The Splenda was supposed to go into the sugar bowl.]
Time to go back to bed and get some more sleep when you do things like that! Well, that would be my solution anyway! Rest up now while you can cause those early morning hours are gonna come really fast now.
Yeah--I know the feeling. The kids will be going back to school next week and I'm having a hard time getting them to go to bed before 1am and getting them outta bed before noon. It doesn't help that I'm a night owl and could sleep in late every day either. Ugh- 5am thats like in a few hours now!
I feel your pain... we've started easing back into the routine and the kids and I are all protesting.. even super hubby who is normally a morning person still wants to sleep until 8 every morning...
Lol!Sorry... I shouldn't be laughing, but um, maybe try getting up a little earlier each morning until school starts? Or maybe just avoid contact with anything till you are fully awake! lol...Blessings on your day!
You know what I would say to do? STAY IN BED longer : ) Why not! : ) Such a great post. It made me smile. I am visiting from Frau's page today and I am so glad I did.
Ugggghhhh..5am. that is awful. I do try to be up early-ish..like by 9:00am. I do work nights so that's not so bad. I feel like we lost the whole summer here with our trauma, drama's. I must remember we could have lost a son!
I really do hate the alarm clock. How nice would it be if life didn't start until 10am, or so (every day)?

That's not good...
ReplyDeleteugh...i know when we find jobs, our 6 months of waking up whenever we want habit is going to be HARD to break.
ReplyDeleteSo...umm...did any coffee ever make it into a cup? :)

ReplyDeleteLooks so like something I'd do. That's why I try not to do anything like that first thing. My shower comes first - it sort of wakes me up. LOL.
ReplyDeleteTime to go back to bed!
ReplyDeleteYou are out of practice, that's all! :) I feel anything before 9am is too early.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's funny! At least you realized it before you attempted to drink it. You did right?? LOL

ReplyDeleteI've done that... LOL
ReplyDeleteYEah back to the ol routine.
But secretly - you like it....
Oh, how I feel your pain. I start back on Monday, but asked for Friday off so I could drive to Michigan for a wedding.
ReplyDeleteI figured it was going to be 5:00 for me too if I count walking the dog and a shower!
Just keep telling yourself that you can do it...can do it... can do it!
You know what I would say to do?
