Friday Fragments, Episode #113

TGIF!!!
And that's all I'm gonna say about that.

If this is your first time at Friday Fragments, please read the rules here.

My spider drama continued on Wednesday, when a tiny little baby spider rappelled down from the ceiling,
onto the driver's side door, when we were in the bank drive-thru.
I managed not to freak (it was a baby, after all)
I just calmly asked for a tissue and committed Spider Murder #3
(or four, depending on where #3 went).
(Yes, I know--I'm going to hell.)

[Update: This was NOTHING, compared to the spider trauma on Thursday morning.
Watch my Spider Drama #5 VLOG about it here.  I told Mr.4444 I am driving his truck until
he can assure me that my car is spider-free.]

The Everyday Mommy became my Favorite Friday Fragmenter this week,
when she posted these gems:

When I dropped Sweets off at school she asked,

"Do I sleep here now, or are you coming to get me?"

and later...

"When you went to the baby store why did you pick me to be your baby?
I wanted to be your sister."

What a little cutie pie! Thanks, Kathy. Enjoy your award:

Monday is my younger sister Judy's birthday, so in honor of her, here's a cute little pic from back in the day :)

Don't worry, Sis; you've got Mom's genes, too--You don't look a day over 30!

I'm sorry to do this to you, but while looking for spider pics, I found this...

Remember, what happens on the Internet stays on the Internet; let that be a lesson to you.

Now's your chance to link up your FRIDAY FRAGMENTS post!
You'll be very glad you did (if nothing else but for the distraction from the preceding photo)!

    Happy birthday to your sis!

  4. I remember seeing that lady (last pic) in the Wisconsin woods once. I think it was after an Alpine Valley concert and there was alcohol involved.

You know if you could find her - she would scare all the spiders away. After seeing her every spider would know there was no food left.

  8. I have a friend with a spider phobia... we all thought it was funny... until there was a spider in the car... seriously, she was one friend's part time nanny and the friend stopped using her because she was afraid of what would happen if there was a spider around while this girl was watching her son!

  13. I'm shivering just thinking about a spider showing up in my car! I had my own spider drama last week and I'm not ready to revisit it yet.

  15. It might be safe to safe I am never going to Wisconsin again. Get rid of those spiders!!

  16. I particularly love the "Evil Spider Of Death" pic! Far better than the latter, slightly rated R, spider costume... Which BTW, made me "LOL" vehemently while screaming OMG! (Yes, I asked for forgiveness after saying it!)

    I needed that laugh :)

    Thanks again for sharing!

  17. You don't like my spider outfit? :-) You are braver than I -- after spider one, I would have commandeered my husband's vehicle.

  18. That last picture? 100 kinds of hilarious wrong!

I'm behind in my blog reading, so I'm not caught up on the spider chronicles. But once I stepped on a spider in our driveway and what seemed like thousands of babies ran out. Ewwww! Makes me shudder to think of it.

  19. Thank yo so much for the award!! I haven't been able to post since then.... nice to know it was award winning! LOL

Sorry about all the spider drama. I lived in a house that had too many spiders before moving to this one. I generally try to be brave and escort them outside but this particular jumping kind of fellow I just have to squish... guess I'm joining you in hell!

Nice find on the spider costume... scarier then the real kind!

  20. Aaaagh! That spider lingerie is almost scarier than actual spiders!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Still waiting to hear how the spider drama turns out...
Ew. The lingerie is horribly fabulous. I think I should order some. or not....

  22. Spiders completely freak me out. I am twitching just from reading your post!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm not one to freak over spiders either, but all of those spider encounters would definitely unnerve me.
But most of all, the chick in the outfit! YIKES!!

LOVE the Favorite Fragments! Hope you have a great weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Whew! I linked up....right under the line of still being Friday! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  27. Okay I thought I was afraid of spiders before, but after seeing that spider outfit I am terrified!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I just want to say to the woman in the spider get-up, "The heavy drinking has GOT to stop!" ")

    ReplyDelete
  29. Time to fumigate your car! Otherwise you're going to end up with that woman snagging a ride with you and she does NOT look like she has a sense of humor. She is ready to kick some ass.

    ReplyDelete
  30. ok i was enjoying this until my eyes melted...smiles.

  31. Love the pic, but think I saw that woman in the woods HERE in NY!

Anyhoo, I'm a little late, but I made it!
