Scary Stuff!

Mr.4444 and I love Halloween. Can you tell?

I loved having an alter ego that year :)
This year, for our annual Halloween party, I'm going as this:
And Mr.4444 will be Marc Antony:

For what it's worth, we (and a neighbor) bought our costumes from Buy Costumes
(They have no idea I'm writing this, btw),
and we are very happy with the quality of the costumes!
Our purchases and deliveries have been seamless, too.
We highly recommend them!**

I'm also excited to say that Weaselmomma, Michelle (of Honest and Truly), and Heather (of Soft Skies)
are going to be joining the festivities this year!
(Stay tuned for some fun party pics!!)

What has been your favorite Halloween costume?

**UPDATE: Please note that I just called BuyCostumes for help with writing a review for my costume and am disappointed to say that they outsource their customer service.  I found the experience frustrating; the operator simply could not understand what I was trying to convey. That said, I will probably still use them in the future, as we were very happy otherwise. Just thought I would let you know...

  4. Love your costumes old and new! I'm not really a fan of dressing up...not sure why, but I love seeing what others come up with. Can't wait to see your pictures!

  5. Oh glory girl, I've been everything from a Hawaiian hula dancer to a slinky cat. One of the most memorial costumes has to be one of my teen years where a friend and I thought it would be great to dress up as Aunt Jamima and Buckwheat to trick or treat for UNICEF with our youth group.

We looked fantastic! Me all blackened up with my hair all tied in rags. We made the mistake of paintin' our mugs with pasty dark brown shoe polish without any cold cream or moisturizer between thee and the polish.

Girl, we even used comet tryin' to get the stuff off! We learned that what we thought was brilliant...wasn't! Heeehehehe!

I can't wait to see the pics from your bash...it's gonna be fantastic!!! :o)

    Have a super day sweetie!!!

  6. i can't say that i remember a lot of my costumes...apparently i am not that awesome and creative;)

but i did enjoy when i dyed my wedding dress a fantastical shade of red (salmon) and slapped some wings on and called myself a fairy.

my EX mother-in-law made it anyhow, so whatever.

i am totally going to hell.

  7. like the punk girl
I dress up as one of the ZZ top guys once. I worked at a place once that had the best halloween events but as the company grew large it just didn't work anymore :(

BTW - did I see a FF post up here earlier today? Maybe I'm seeing things??
