Sundays in My City, Blizzard Edition

It's cold here in Wisconsin.
And windy.
And snowy.
Only those who know life this far north (Wisconsin, not the Arctic. Well, the Arctic, too, I suppose)
know why this tree has a patch of snow on it...

[Wait. They might not have trees in the Arctic. I guess we should be grateful.]

Only Northerners know what this is like...

Don't pity him--He actually loves it. See?

Don't worry about his eye; it's not usually half-shut. It's just from having snow blown into it at 50mph.

And now, a silly video for you...

Visit Unknown Mami to check the weather elsewhere!haha

Oh, and P.S. The tree is like that from the snowblower blowing snow at it :)

  2. We don't have any snow on our deck right now ... the 50 MPH winds blew it all away.

  3. I can't believe how much snow you got. Only 1-2 inches of snow here but terrible wind and cold.

  4. And here I was complaining it only got up to 40 degrees in NJ today on our vacation. Glad I'm now back in AZ and it was 81 degrees when we drove home from the airport.

  11. St. Louis had wimpy snow compared to Wisconsin. You are a brave woman and probably a lot stronger than I am! Nice Vlog!

  12. It's BEAUTIFUL!! I miss the snow during the holidays! If we could have snow like that for about 3 weeks and have it gone as soon as I am done with it, I would so love it!!

  15. It is so beautiful.

I'm glad you clarified how the tree got the snow strip on it. It would have driven me crazy not to know. ;-)

  16. What is that machine that he's walking with? Could that be the fabled "Snow blower"? I've never seen one before! CH bought a snow shovel when we moved here 6 years ago...he's only used it 2 times.
