Sundays in My City: Mary's Blooming Beauties

Unknown Mami

In my city (or thereabouts) I have multi-talented sister, Mary, who has my mom's (and grandma's) green thumbs and an incredible flower garden to prove it. Having a gorgeous flower garden that blooms all summer is an impressive talent.  This year, Mary's photo show of her garden (a show our entire family looks forward to on Facebook) did not disappoint. This time, she focused on the flying creatures who visit her blooming beauties. I promise--You will be impressed.

I'm so proud of my sister's talent, as well as her willingness to share its fruits. Thanks, Mary!

  1. I like the variety of colors.
Did she plant for the butterflies?
We were fortunate enough to tour a butterfly farm in Costa Rica once. Very interesting.

  4. The flowers are amazing. I am in awe of that. We have our first flower garden going and are learning as we go. I enjoyed seeing the garden through your sister's eyes. Mary must have a really nice camera to get up close and clear shots of butterflies and bugs. Thanks for sharing some of her photos.

  8. Wow on so many levels! Numbers three and five are my favorites, but I liked them all.

Tell your sis that (thanks to you), I'm doing a canvas giveaway on my blog. Wouldn't one of these look fabulous on canvas?

  15. I love gardens and I wish I had a green thumb but I don't. Your sister's garden is so lovely. You have some talented sisters (or is this the sister who makes the cake pops?) If so, she's every woman.
