Today's fragments are of the chunky variety (which is fitting, because I'm feeling a little chunky lately, too). I'm glad you're here. Let's get fraggin'!

***Some of you will find this appalling, some will find it unbelievable, and some will just shake your heads. For what it's worth, I've only been drinking coffee (1-2 cups per day) for the past couple of years.
Kyle: "Mom, did you put the leftover coffee from this canister into the other one?"
Me: "Yes, why?"
Kyle: "Mom, you just don't do that; would you put the leftovers of two different bottles of wine into one bottle? No. You don't mix two different roasts of coffee."
He had me there (and I don't even drink wine). Don't worry; I'll never do it again.
***Because I was at the technology conference, Milo was in his kennel for approximately three hours. I wish I had video taped our reunion when I let him out, because the best word I can use to describe his reaction to seeing me again is "ecstatic." I totally get why people with pets live longer; what a great feeling, to be greeted with such enthusiasm!
***Lisleman has been fragmenting for a very long time. That's why it's so impressive that he always has such great intros. Take this one, for example:
Our lawn is just a fragment of what it was before the drought sucked its moisture dry. Good thing my brain fragments still needs mowing. Here’s this week’s clippings.
Keep up the good work, Lisleman! (No pressure.haha)
***I watched an episode of American Gypsies last weekend. It was very intriguing. Since my knowledge of gypsies is limited to childhood fiction, I'm interested in learning more. I found American Gypsy: A Stranger in Everybody's Land and got some of my questions answered. I don't see the film on Netfix, though, and I have no idea how old it is, but I'll wait to see if it comes to Netflix.
***On the Olympics front, I just read the story about how the Chinese, gold-medal diver's grandparents passed, ago but she was never told, for fear it would interfere with her focus. This may be understandable if they had died recently, but they died years ago (within four years, I assume). You can read more about the story here.
***My phone is acting all wonky, and I had to have it reset to factory settings today. That didn't take care of the fact that it is silencing itself all the time, so the next step is replacement (Thankfully, it's still under warranty.) Because of this experience, I was inspired to make this, at Someecards:
***I'm still having problems with comments on my blog. The Disqus folks have been great about communicating with me about it, and today they emailed to say that it's actually a problem since a Blogger update. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon. If not, no one will die; as much as I love hearing from you, it's really a trivial thing when compared to real problems.
***It's family reunion time this weekend for Mom's side of the family! We rent out a YMCA day camp for three days, and it's a lot of fun, so expect to see some pics. Also, if you ever have a big family reunion to plan, please contact me, because we have this reunion every two years and really have the planning thing down to a science. I'd be happy to share our four-page guide with you :)
Looking forward to your fragments...
