This week, I'm having a happy reunion with FF, as she spent a while this summer with my friend Claudya at Unknown Mami, and now she is home again. Thank you, again, Claudya; you are a gem. And now to the fragging!
***If you have daughters or granddaughters, a wife, or if you are a girl, you should read How to Talk to Your Daughter About Her Body. I'm guilty of making negative comments about my body, and one thing that I adore about Kendall is that she chastises me when I do so. She's right; I'm awesome, and that's all I need to know.haha
***The previous fragment aside, I've been exercising this summer but can't say that I'm consistent, except that I do something (bike, walk, treadmill) a few times per week.
***As I type this draft, I am excited about my niece and her kids coming to visit tonight. We haven't seen each other in years, and with Kyle and Kendall home, we're all looking forward to a fun weekend together.
***If you live in the Green Bay area, are from here, or plan to visit one day, you'll appreciate this computerized video depiction of what the Hwy 41 Interchange construction will result in, in the longrun. It's really interesting! [FYI, it starts at Scheuring Road and goes north.]
***On a related note, while I appreciate the fact that it has provided all kinds of jobs and will be really nice in the end, I am continuously appalled by the level of oppulence in the details; far too much money has been spent on this project. It truly seems like the sky was the limit on the budget for this project, and it makes me kind of sick.
