Friday Fragments: Episode #279

Boy, today I feel like my life is living me, rather than the other way around;

I've done nothing but run from one thing to the other the past couple of days, 

and there is no end in sight, even this weekend.

I'm so happy to finally be sitting down, though I can only relax long enough to write this post,

because I have much left to do today (It's 8:30pm.)

I learned this week that some men shake other men's hands like girls (weakly)

and was very surprised; I thought they only did that to women. 

I hate wimpy handshakes from men or women; they make me think that the shaker thinks I'm a wimp.

My (female) dentist only shakes fingers; it's weird.

(I hope she doesn't read my blog, because I really love her, otherwise.

But really; she needs to learn how to shake hands;

as, according to this video, she gives the "dead trout" handshake.

The Difference Makers rang bells for the Salvation Army this week.

Even though we were technically indoors (foyer of a grocery store), 

it was far below zero degrees outside, and we felt it.

The kids were great.

Speaking of cold weather, poor Milo's feet froze up within minutes of going outside this week.

I hope this isn't the sign of things to come.

I'm going to be reviewing one of these babies soon; 

the PowerRocks portable charger is on Mark's and Kyle's wishlists for Christmas.

Hopefully, they've been good enough this year.

I get to go to Mr.4444's work Christmas party tomorrow night.

I can't remember the last time that happened, as his prior companies were located too far away

(as in Canada, among other places).

I get to wear a cute dress and new jewelry

and hopefully meet some cool people :)

is up to 11, 409 views! Reading the comments from people who are so appreciative, 

I get a great feeling for helping out.

I'm finishing up a excellent audio book tonight. It's called Me Before You. I stopped listening at the last chapter, because I've loved the book a lot and am afraid of the ending. 

I don't know how I want it to end. Have you read it?
