Way Back When

Mom tells me that I was in the hospital for surgery to remove a cyst from my ankle when I was about two years old, and my earliest memory is from that experience. I recall being in a crib with a stuffed Pebbles doll, being fed from a yellow cafeteria tray that included cooked peas, as well as scrambled eggs. I'm not sure why I remember that, but I have a pleasant feeling about it, for some reason.

SoulPancake made a video called Your First Childhood Memory, in which they asked people about their earliest childhood memories, which is what inspired this post. Care to share yours? I'm curious.
