Friday Fragments: Episode #292

Half-Past Kissin' Time

I feel like an expectant mother--We are anxiously awaiting the birth of a new family member, a ragdoll kitten. The parents look a lot like this:

The breeder lives in Minnesota, and yes, we know there are so many free cats out there, and we have had our share of alley cats (six, to be exact). We've just been admiring the ragdoll breed for a while now (years) and decided to go that route. The kittens are due any day now, and with any luck, we'll take a male kitten some time in June.

If you've ever been to an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meeting or even a serious-but-boring business meeting, you will appreciate Ways to Make Your Next IEP Awesome. It's hilarious.

I received an email asking me to drum up a little support for a soon-to-be-released movie. I normally ignore such requests for kid movies, but this one looked good, so I watched the trailer. It looks really great, and there are many famous voices in the film.

Maybe I'll find a kid to take me! :)

I want to give a shout out to Mary C and Kathy B., who were kind enough to visit and comment on student blogger's posts that I shared last week. The kids were thrilled. Many of them continue to write new posts, even though we only assigned three posts. Thank you, ladies.

Did you see my funny anniversary video for Mr.4444 this week? In case you missed it, click here; and, in case you're interested, you could check out How Not to Steal Other People's Photos/Graphics.

My friend Sue Linnell shared If 70's Moms Had Blogs, and I chuckled all the way through it. Lisleman, maybe you could write the dad version!

I've been diagnosed with Bicep Tendonitis, a condition that makes some yoga poses painful. Who knew one could do too much yoga?!

Popcorn is the devil. Just ask my broken tooth (and the one I broke eating popcorn a few years back). You'd think I'd know better.

Kendall's coming home for a week!! Need I say more?

Thanks for joining us! Got a Friday Fragments post? Please link it up below:
