Global Collaboration Excitement

I'm so excited!! A few months ago, Mrs. C's and my 6th grade language arts students partnered with three other schools around the globe (New Zealand, Australia, and Moscow), teaching our students to blog and comment on other kids' blogs. The kids really loved it, so we came up with another, brilliant idea to partner with the New Zealand class (of third graders) in an innovative, exciting project!

We are partnering the kids up to collaboratively write stories together via Google Docs! Check these little cuties out!

And that's not all! Tomorrow after school, we are participating in a Google Hangout between our school and the New Zealand school! The kids are going to meet their partners, and we teachers will roll out the project together. How fun is that?!
