Friday Fragments: Episode #325

Half-Past Kissin' Time

BOO!
Welcome to Friday Fragments, where there's nothing to be afraid of;
simply collect your random thoughts, put them into a post, and link up!
[specifics can be found here]

***I don't know about your neck of the woods, but it's winter in mine, suddenly. I haven't worn a coat to work all week, but tomorrow's high is supposed to be only 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Yikes!

***Is it me, or has this work week flown by like lightening? Maybe it's because it was "spirit week" this week at school and I didn't have to wear dress clothes? Neon day, wacky day, pajama day, etc. Gotta love spirit week.

***Just when I was starting to feel like my shoulder had turned the healing corner, it turned around. I'm guessing it's too much too soon, therapy-wise. I see my doctor tomorrow, so maybe he'll have an answer.

***My phone died last weekend! I can't get it to take a charge at all, and since I've decided I'm ready for an iPhone, I ordered one. Unfortunately, it won't arrive for at least three week. It's a very strange feeling, not having a phone. I can text, get voicemail, and talk on my computer via my Google Voice number, though, so I'll get through it.

***I have four different email addresses that all feed into my gmail account. Last week, I discovered that my Mrs4444 email was not coming through. I still haven't figured out what is causing the problem, but I am able to force the feed, so I received more than 100 emails last night. I promise that I'll get through them all. If you've sent an email to me and haven't received a response, thanks for your patience.

***Our oven, my phone, and my Fitbit had cardiac arrests on Sunday! Isn't that strange?! The oven is back up and running. I told you about my phone already. My Fitbit is three years old; I think I probably just need to buy a new one.

***I've started drinking tea lately. Do You Know What's Really in Your Tea is a great article; I learned a lot! (Thanks, Michelle.)

***Kyle made a delicious Butternut Squash Soup last weekend! I'm thrilled that he's following in his father's (and grandfather's) culinary footsteps. Speaking of Kyle, I'm thrilled to report that he graduates in December and has found a part-time job (with great potential for full time) with a start-up company that is currently in beta. (That means it's just beginning to get rolling.) He's also continuing his work on his own startup, and he's staying on with Whole Foods for a while, so he's going to be very busy!
