Letting Go of Fall

I adore fall in Wisconsin. 

This scene is a mile from my house and is gorgeous for weeks.

Over the windy weekend, the last of the leaves glided to the ground,

where they'll likely stay put for the next several months.

I guess there's no escaping it; winter is on the way.
