Friday Fragments: Episode #355

Half-Past Kissin' Time

Everyone's busy. Everyone's beat. I'm glad you've stopped by. Put up your feet.

Let's unload our random thoughts.

I'm very, very excited about the fact that on Monday we'll finally have our new 125-gallon salt water aquarium set up! It'll take a while to have fish in it, but having it ready to go will be very gratifying.

I read a very interesting article this week when I learned about a student who has an unusual type of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder called Emotional Contamination OCD. If you're curious, read this.

For the last writing assignment of the school year, we decided to try something new; their grade on the assignment (worth 50 points) will be based on two things: a) having a beginning, middle, and end of their story and b) Using proper punctuation; you know, PERIODS at the ends of sentences, CAPITAL LETTERS where appropriate, COMMAS where they've been taught ALL YEAR to place them, and the proper spelling of THEIR/THEY'RE/THERE, TO/TOO/TWO, AND YOUR/YOUR. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?! We'll find out.

Memorial Day became even more memorable for me when I began vomiting at 12am and didn't stop until early afternoon. Not to be specific, but let's just say there were more symptoms, and when it was all over, I'd lost four pounds and had a great ab workout in. Mr. 4444's turn was next; I guess there's one way to get a "vacation" for that guy.

We had a very fun field day of sorts last Friday at school. I was able to snap some great photos. Here are a few of my favorites:

This is the little cutie pie who stops at my room every single day after school to tell me to have a nice night:

There are four and a half days of school left; at this point, we're just trying to keep the lid on 'emkeep the prayers coming!

I miss visiting with all of you; please let me know what's new with you!
