Two Truths and a Lie

Although I am a very honest person (or maybe because of it), I really love playing this game with kids as an ice breaker on the first day of school. You share two true things about yourself and one lie. Everyone then guesses which one is the lie. I'll start (and yes, I know there are five statements here; I had so much fun coming up with them that I went a little overboard.)

1. I have always wanted to skydive.
2. My middle name is Jean.
3. I was almost killed in "the operating suite," delivering Kyle (17 years ago.)
4. I used to chew my sister's toenails.
5. I've been busted for shoplifting twice.

Okay, now you guess. Then leave two truths and one lie for me to guess! [p.s. Geri, Mary, Judy, and Michelle, you are exempt from guessing, but I would love to read your truths/lie.]

  1. I want to say #4 is the lie? (still uncertain...you made it tough)

  2. Nope. It's number one. No desire at all to skydive!
