Weekly Winners and Sundays in my City are two fun photo memes that are a great way to start your week :)
Remember this gorgeous bride from our Halloween party?
Well, believe it or not, that bride was a man! I know--it's simply shocking, as shocking as this display during the party!
I can't tell you how happy I was to be invited to their real wedding (which took place this weekend). Jed and Sara looked like royalty...
And for the record, there was no garter display at the real reception, which was spectacular; they had ice sculptures, amazing hors d'oeuvres (Shout out to Liz and Michelle for helping with this spelling!!), and even these fun bloody-Mary mementos.
As if that wasn't fun enough, they even had a Photo Booth! Since Sara's parents are good friends of ours from the neighborhood, at one point a bunch of us neighbors piled in there and took some pretty funny photos. Sorry I don't have those shots, but here are some of me and Mr.4444 being cute.
Sorry for the poor quality here; they actually look quite nice in real life. The photo people took another copy and put it in an album for the bride and groom, and we wrote a little note for them next to it on the page. How cool is that?!
And finally, I snapped this sweet shot at the wedding with my zoom (but no flash). I think you'll agree; it's still precious.

ReplyDeleteLove the photo booth idea for a wedding- that is great! And her dress looked absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFun photos!
ReplyDeleteThe photo booth idea is awesome. I love that they had a copy for themselves that you could add a message to. That'll be fun to look at over the years!
ReplyDeleteSara makes for a much better looking bride than Jed. He should definitely stick to being a groom.
ReplyDeleteA photo booth at a wedding reception. What a nifty idea.
The flower girl and the ring bearer make a great couple themselves.
Beautiful pics! I was in a wedding one time and they had disposable cameras at each table for the guests to take pics! It was awesome! Some of the pics were better then the paid photograpers!
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is truly precious!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the ring bearer and flower girl. Sounds like a fun wedding (for an, obviously, fun couple!)
ReplyDeleteThose photo booth pictures are fantastic; neat idea.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at wedding pictures even if I don't know the couple.
Wow what a great idea about the photo booth! they look like a fun couple and her dress is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe first weddin' picture is hysterical and the second is just breathtakingly beautiful. That dress has to be every brides dream and the two cutie patooties is totally sweet. I love the idea of the photo booth. Fun!!!

Ohhhh! That looks like a FUN wedding! And I have to say it - the real bride looks way more spectacularly beautiful than the Halloween bride... ;) How fun to have a photo booth, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo booth pics. Classic!!
ReplyDeletelove the idea of the photo booth...you never see them anymore. looks like everyone had a lot of fun...the way it should be!
ReplyDeleteThe Photo Booth is such a great idea. I want to get married again so I can have all the fun of planning a wedding again. After all, the last one was 25 years ago and they didn't have all this cool stuff back then. Heck, they didn't even have cell phones, laptops, or DVR's back then either! Ancient history!
ReplyDeleteYou 4444s are a pretty good looking couple I must say!
ReplyDeletenice favor and beautiful dress, I love weddings.
ReplyDeleteAwww that's so sweet! I LOVE that dress. And the little bloody mary mix is such a neat idea, too. (btw, hors d'oeuvres - they're plural)
ReplyDeleteWe had a photo booth at the fundraiser I was at on Friday. Unfortunately we never made it to the photo booth. But ummm considering it was 80s night and I had a side pony tail with my shoulder padded dress, that may have been a good call ;)
sounds like a wonderful wedding and reception!
ReplyDeleteLovey wedding and her dress is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they put a lot of thought and planning into what they wanted.
Love the idea of the photo booth. How cool!
Have a wonderful week! BTW, how many days until spring break?
Those two kids are absolutely precious! Not having a flash didn't seem to matter at all!! Looks like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful couple!
ReplyDeleteHappy 'Sunday in My City' greetings from Cairo!
