Saturday Sampling, August 14, 2010

The feedback on Saturday Sampling has been wonderful, and I agree with all of it--It's such a great way to catch up on the best posts!  New bloggers are linking up every week, and I've "met" some great people through their posts. Thank you for linking up your posts (and those of others) and for spreading the word!

Last week, I was a bit of a slacker (due to being out of town) in regard to flagging the most popular posts with a *. This week, I promise to do better, so feel free to sing the praises of other people's posts that you find especially funny, inspiring, or powerful. Also, please be a dear and link up in the following format, so that readers may pick and choose accordingly:

Name of Post (tags), and your name if you have room and want to add it
(see my example below, in link #1)

I'm also participating in Big Mama's 2nd Look Saturday today.  Feel free to double-dip if you're linking up!

If you're new to Saturday Sampling, please be so kind as to read the rules before linking up. Thank you!

  4. What a great idea. I didn't realize I could post old favorites too. Should have read the rules and then linked up. No biggie. I included a great game for families to play together.

    Have a good weekend.

  8. Hello! Thanks for your comments on both my Scribbleprints and Texifornia post. What you said about "The Creativity Crisis" was especially interesting to me.

I think I still do have my button collection...sort of. Several of them are now sewn on a vest I haven't worn in a LONG, LONG time (but keep just for those buttons). The rest are in a box somewhere in my childhood home in California...didn't stumble on them my last trip back, so I have no idea where they are, but my dad doesn't throw much out so I'm sure they're still there. :-)

  10. I didn't even know you were doing this! Of course, I'm still playing catch up so I have nothing to contribute.
