Sundays in My City

When I saw this video of Texans trying to pronounce Wisconsin city names, I figured you'd appreciate a break from all the football talk. (Besides, it's funny.) What you may or may not know is that many of our city names were inspired by American Indian words, so they are often difficult to pronounce. Enjoy!

  1. There are so many interpretations aren't there? The people trying to say the names were all good sports. Sports, get it, football?
I know you and your family will be enjoying the Super Bowl.

  4. What a hoot! It was a better way to begin Super Bowl sunday than pacing the floor and praying. It's a long time until 5:30.

  5. Heeehehehehe!!! When I'd go 'truckin' with Hubs (which wasn't more than once or twice a year, I just don't sit still well) he'd always correct my pronounciation of many of the towns but ya never know....I could'a been correct! Just sayin'.......

    Enjoy sweetie!!!

  9. Maybe it's because I'm from the Midwest, but it just seems hilarious to me how much trouble they're having!
