Sweet Lorraine, Sweet Fred

There is something about witnessing true love that inspires us all. I was so moved when I saw this story on TV Saturday morning that I looked it up on-line. You can find the whole story here, but in a nutshell, a very dear widower named Fred wrote a sweet little song in memory of his wife, Lorraine, and sent it into a small recording studio. The producers were so moved by Fred's heartfelt letter and song that they recorded it for him. Here is the 9-minute documentary that they also made. I recommend watching it with tissue near.

Fred's sincerity just warmed my heart. It's confirmation that life is good, that hope is alive, and love is everlasting. In the midst of every other distraction, I appreciate having such a touchstone. I thought you would, too.
