Last weekend on Facebook, I found this adorable little kitty tent,
along with easy, nine-step instructions.
Being the go-getter that I am, I resolved to make one for Ted
once I had two, working arms with which to make it.
Then next day, I came to my senses, and three much-simpler steps later, I'd whipped this up.
Step One: Grab a t-shirt and a box (cardboard, plastic, wicker, whatever).
(You're not going to cut, glue, or otherwise ruin either, so no hangers or tools are needed.
Step Two: Throw a cat toy inside the box and sprinkle it with catnip.
Step Three: Stretch the shirt over the box, tucking the sleeves inside themeselves.
Lay it on its side and let your cat explore it.
MUCH easier, and equally appealing to your pet.
It's not as "cute," I'll admit, but Ted doesn't seem to mind.
