I have a confession to make. It's really hard for me to admit this, as I was always saying, "There is no way I would ever do that! I'm not going to judge what other people do, but over my dead body will you see me do that."
And yet, I am now letting a dog sleep in my bed.
There--I said it.
I haven't gone completely over the edge, though; Milo does trot into his little kennel next to the bed every night at bedtime. However, last week, I learned that if I pull him into bed with me at 6am (instead of taking him outside), he sleeps for 2-3 more hours! That's hours, People! Hours!
And the snuggling...the snuggling! It's wonderful. Mr.4444 travels sometimes, you know; Milo can't spoon me, of course, but he can breath puppy breath on me and make little groany sounds that are adorable.
The scary thing? We now have Steve (yellow lab puppy). (No, we did not ever let Cooper sleep with us.) I mean it this time; over my dead body will I share a bed with a big dog.
Okay, that's my confession for today. What's yours?
